If you haven’t been on a guided trip with David, you’re missing out.

…what really sets him apart is how much he teaches along the way…helping you become a better angler instead of just putting you on fish.

Guide & teacher
Learn to Read the Water
Newer to fly fishing? David teaches as he guides. He’s there to educate, not just to put you on fish.
River hydrology
How current moves, where trout hold, and why.
Entomology
What bugs are hatching, and how to match them.
What I really found different about hiring David is that he is not your typical guide who just takes you out and tells you when and where to cast. He walks you through the setup of the rig and fly choice as well as reading the water, teaching you every step of the way.
Darren
From the water and the vise
Moments from recent trips and the tying bench, shared on Instagram at @wasatchflyfisher and @wasatchflies.
