Give Back
Taking Care of the Water

Why conservation matters to me
I’ve been fly fishing for 47 years, and as a licensed guide I spend my days on Northern Utah’s mountain streams and alpine lakes. Every good day out there depends on cold, clean water, healthy forests above it, and bugs and trout that have room to thrive.
Anglers have always been some of the first people to notice when something changes on the water, and some of the first to step up and take care of it. Catch and release, packing out what we pack in, and leaving a place better than we found it are part of every trip I guide. Giving back is the next step.
5% of every trip goes to the American Conservation Coalition. When you fish with me, you’re helping look after the places we fish for the next generation of anglers.
About ACC
American Conservation Coalition
The American Conservation Coalition (ACC) is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit founded in 2017. In its own words, its mission is “to build the conservative environmental movement.” Its platform includes public lands and water: protecting sportsmen’s rights and uplifting “hunters and anglers, the original conservationists,” expanding access to public lands and outdoor recreation, and bottom-up solutions for conserving America’s water. It also works on active forest management to keep forests resilient against wildfire. ACC has a Utah branch, and in 2026 ACC Utah members joined state leaders on a lake restoration roundtable and an on-the-ground restoration project.
